I had almost given up on the idea of taking any worthwhile pictures on this morning, after getting out of bed at 5am to shoot the sunrise from Dawlish Warren, only to be greeted by grey skies and rain! After returning home for breakfast the skies cleared and I could see that the light was going to be good after all. Eventually I decided to go out photographing again, and I hopped back into the car and drove down to Beer in East Devon to take some shots on the beach. The sky, as it often is following rain, was full of beautiful cloud formations, and these two rowing boats sitting on the shingle were catching the warm morning sun nicely. I only wish I had been there earlier!
